This week the entire 7th Grade went to Willand Pond! On this trip the students worked in groups on the low-ropes course to successfully complete the challenging elements. Teamwork was key, including encouraging teammates in order to support their success. Students take these concepts back to the classroom and apply them to their own learning, and how they can support the learning of other students.
At another station, students played a game of "Oh, Deer!" where they learned about the challenges that wildlife faces while competing for resources necessary for life including food, water, shelter, and space. Lastly, the day also included a 1/2 mile walk each way to a special treat at Strafford Farms - thanks Strafford Farms!
